Ellen Collett is a writer based in Los Angeles, California.



Ellen Collett has a B.A. from Yale and a M.F.A from the Bennington Writer’s Seminars. She spent fifteen years in the entertainment business before transitioning to law enforcement and Crime Analysis in Los Angeles.

Her work has been published in The Writer’s Chronicle, LOSTmagazine, The Utne Reader, The Bennington Review, and elsewhere.

She has completed a collection of short stories and is at work on a crime novel, Grand Masters, currently excerpted in Word Riot magazine.
